I've been recording some sounds for a an upcoming project which led me to recording the underside of the lid of a salad spinner and dangling a small plastic tab on it as it spun. It wasn't my intention but it sounds a bit like an old film projector. You can get some interesting results with this clip by messing a bit with the eq which is what i'll be doing for the finished project. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. Funky-ish old school break loop programmed in ableton using dope vst beat machine cm. This plug-in is perfect for breaks. The samples are first class. Run through a vinyl simulator for some crackle. 4 bars at 110 bpm.

At night a female stumbles upon a creaky old barn nestled in the woods.

Over 100 years old finnish antique wall-clock ticks and chimes 6 o'clock. Recorded at my parents home.

Cut up a recording of an old grandfather clock, removed the noisy whirring in between ticks, and added long dreamy reverb that grows a bit towards the end. .

This is a recording of an old black rotary telephone sounds. The sounds are first the handset being lifted, then the top switches being pressed, then the handset returned. This is then followed by the dial sounds starting with 1 then going all the way through to 0. By editing using the sounds a complete telephone process can be created. Recorded using zoom h2.

An dark ambient sound made with synth samples. It's dark and etheral, with a cyberpunk flavour added. Sounds came from a kurzweil sp4-8 keyboard, legowelt's free samples. Recorded on audacity. Feel free to use it.
